Nkuhlu Picnic Site

Nkuhlu is is built on several levels under a canopy of tall trees, next to the mighty Sabie River. It lies between Lower Sabie and Skukuza on the popular Lower Sabie Road, famous for its rewarding game viewing - especially of the big 5.

Nkuhlu Facilities

The cafeteria at Nkuhlu is privatized, and snacks, cold drinks and sweets are available. The shop is not particularly well stocked with souvenirs or clothing though, so save your purchasing of these items for the main camps. Picnic tables are placed under the cool shade of the trees, and gas cylinders for hire.

Nkuhlu Features

Sitting at the river level in the late afternoon, and watching the Sabie River powerfully moving its way almost right beneath you, makes for a picnic site with one of the best features in the Park.

Nkuhlu Location

Nkuhlu is 25km/45min east of Skukuza on the H4-1 and 23km/45min west of Lower Sabie, also on the H4-1.
