The tour begins with a morning visit to Soweto, about 30 minutes from Johannesburg. You will explore Vilakazi Street, where Nelson Mandela's home—now a museum—is located. Nearby is Bishop Desmond Tutu's house, a private residence viewed from the outside. You will also visit the Hector Peterson Memorial, commemorating the 1976 youth protests, followed by a drive through Soweto to observe its development.
Next, the tour stops at the Apartheid Museum, one of South Africa’s most visited museums, where you will spend 2 to 3 hours. En route, you will see the World Cup soccer stadium where the 2010 final took place.
The final visit is to the Constitutional Court and the former prison where Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi were detained.
