Description
Day 1: Pickup from Johannesburg hotel or O.R. Tambo Airport. Travel via Highveld grasslands to Tremisana Game Lodge in Kruger National Park. Enjoy a 4-hour open Land Cruiser sunset drive, spotting wildlife and nocturnal animals with spotlight assistance. Dinner at Marula Tree Boma features a bush barbecue. Overnight in air-conditioned en suite chalets.
Day 2: Sunrise 4-hour guided bushwalk along the Olifants River with armed rangers at a comfortable pace. Return to lodge for brunch, followed by free time to relax or swim. Lunch served at 13:30 in the Lapa Lounge. At 15:30, embark on a 3.5-hour sundowner game drive using up-to-date wildlife tracking. Return for dinner and overnight at Tremisana.
Day 3: Full-day game drive from Orpen Gate on an open-sided vehicle. Expect close encounters with diverse wildlife, including large herds of zebra, giraffe, antelope, and the highest concentration of lions in Africa. Stops include picnic spots and rest camps.
Day 4: Additional full day of guided game viewing in Kruger National Park. Dinner and overnight at Tremisana Game Lodge.
Day 5: Early morning sunrise drive followed by breakfast. Travel the Panorama Route to visit notable landmarks such as the Three Rondavels and Blyde River Canyon. Return to Johannesburg in the late afternoon with airport drop-off available by arrangement.
