From working in local South African restaurants to Michelin star masters in the UK, Chef Marthinus Ferreira has a wealth of experience in the kitchen. Since opening its doors in 2009, DW Eleven - 13 has strived to become an ever evolving restaurant, consistently changing the menu and keeping it fresh. As the menu has improved, so has the customer's dinning experience. Eating in a fine, modern restaurant, with fantastic character means it's the perfect place to share a great meal.
Ferreira doesn't believe in over-working his dishes, preferring to concentrate instead on pure flavours and simplistic ideals. This is proven in his signature dish of roasted chicken served with braised lettuce, a must-try on a visit to the DW Eleven - 13.
Of course with a good meal must come good wine. DW Eleven - 13 provides a great wine selection available by the glass and bottle. Each dish on the menu is even accompanied by a recommended wine teaser.

Ferreira has also established a relaxed and casual restaurant called The Grazing Room in Johannesburg. Here the food is based on sociality where customers can enjoy conversations over Spanish tapas. Customers are invited to come in and literally 'graze' through the a variety of carefully chosen sharing plates and dishes.
