Club Chevelle

Club Chevelle is a bar and entertainment venue on Van Riebeeck Avenue in Edenvale, Johannesburg, with a design inspired by classic muscle cars and the rock ’n’ roll era. Chrome details, leather touches and automotive styling give the space a retro character, while the overall setting is arranged for socialising, drinks and music rather than a quiet meal.

The food centres on casual bar fare, including burgers, nachos and dishes intended for sharing. The drinks offering includes beer, cocktails and other cold beverages. The menu suits informal evenings with friends, especially when food is shared around a table between games, music and conversation.

Music is a central part of the venue’s identity. DJs provide different styles across the entertainment calendar, including rock and familiar commercial tracks, with a dance floor available for evenings that become more energetic. The atmosphere moves between a rock-focused bar setting and a more general party environment, depending on the event.

Pool tables provide another way to spend the evening, making Club Chevelle suitable for groups that want more than a standard bar visit. The venue also accommodates private functions, with event support covering elements such as sound, lighting and bar service. It can be considered for birthdays, corporate gatherings, launches and other group occasions.

Regular themed entertainment gives the venue a structured social calendar, with trivia, student-focused evenings, music nights and food promotions forming part of its programming. Since individual events can vary, table bookings are relevant for visitors planning around a particular night. Club Chevelle suits adults and social groups looking for casual food, drinks, music, dancing and pool in an East Rand setting.
