The Lost City Country Club and Golf Course lies close to the magnificent Palace of the Lost City. This Golf Course was designed by Gary Player to be very different from his original Gary Player Golf Course. There would, after all, be little point in having two Golf Courses at Sun City that offer the same experience. The beauty of the Lost City Course, is that it provides beautiful views of mountain, African bushveld and even desert areas, as you make you way from green to green. And just to make things even more exciting, you'll find several very large resident Nile croocodile in a pool at the 13th green, which itself is shaped like the African continent!
As with the Gary Player Country Club, golfers have the choice of playing off the championship,standard or forward tees. However, with its undulating fairways and unexpected approaches, the Lost City Golf Course is a challenge to any golfer.
Please note: The Lost City Golf Course is closed on Tuesdays for routine maintenance.
