OR Tambo International Airport

OR Tambo International Airport is the largest airport in the country, and it receives flights from around the world. It is also the air transport hub of Southern Africa, catering for more than 17 million passengers each year. If you're flying from outside the country, chances are you'll be landing here. The majority of domestic flights to and from destinations within in South Africa also depart from here. This airport meets international standards on all levels, and passing through it is a seamless and hassle-free process. The airport boasts a world-class variety of amenities, business centres, retail centres, restaurants and bars, as well as a five-star hotel.

The Airport is located on the outskirts of the city, and there are a number of transport options available to take you to your accommodation. Apart from a variety of approved private taxi services at the airport, there is also a range of shuttles that will pick you up right in front of the arrivals hall, many of which are listed in our Tours section.
