Lanseria International Airport started over 25 years ago as a small rural airfield. It has developed today into a highly successful local and international airport. It lies only about 25km from Sandton and less than 50km from Joburg and Pretoria. This makes it far more useful than OR Tambo for passengers doing business in the Northern Areas of Johannesburg.

Lanseria also lies within the Cradle of Humankind, the fast growing tourist destination, which is now known to be the birthplace of the ancestors of humankind. There are plenty of quality, smaller establishments in which to overnight before or after your arrival here.
