This guided tour visits iconic stadiums like Ellis Park, Soccer City, and the Wanderers, ideal for sports fans interested in history and behind-the-scenes access.
Description
Experience a unique opportunity to tour one, two, or all three major stadiums: the Wanderers, Ellis Park, and Soccer City. Knowledgeable guides will take you backstage to explore the dressing rooms, Presidents’ Suites, press and commentary boxes, and the players’ tunnel leading onto the fields.
Stand where key moments in sports history occurred: Joel Stransky’s winning drop goal in the 1995 Rugby World Cup final, Ricky Ponting’s six-hitting performance in the 2003 Cricket World Cup, or the pitch of FNB Stadium, the venue of the 2010 Football World Cup final.
The tour also includes two stadiums in Pretoria: Loftus Versfeld (rugby and football) and Supersport Park (cricket). Choose from a three-venue tour, combinations of two stadiums, or single stadium visits. Custom rugby tours (Ellis Park and Loftus Versfeld) and cricket tours (the Wanderers and Supersport Park) are available.
