Description
Experience life in the South African wilderness on a 2-day camping safari at Pilanesberg National Park. Discover the home to Africa's legendary “Big Five” and many other wild beasts, just 2 hours from Johannesburg. Please note that the following itinerary is offered as an example and the precise program can vary from tour to tour. Day 1: Depart Johannesburg or Pretoria and travel to Pilanesberg National Park, located in the Bonjanala region, adjacent to Sun City. Marvel at the 55,000-hectare game reserve as you take your first game drive looking for wildlife before a lunch stop at the Pilanesberg Center. Continue after lunch to Manyane or Bakgatia, where you will set up camp for the night. Enjoy a complimentary dinner around the campfire before you retire for the night. Day 2: Wake early for breakfast and then embark on a second game drive. Look for native animals, including over 360 species of bird. Take advantage of the excellent game viewing opportunities in a malaria free climate. Then, depart Pilanesberg for the return journey to Johannesburg or Pretoria.Includes
