Description
This tour departs from your Johannesburg address and journeys about an hour to Lesedi Cultural Village, located in pristine bushveld and rocky hills.
The village presents the rich cultures and traditions of South Africa’s ethnic groups, offering insight into the country’s cultural diversity.
The experience starts with a welcome and drumming session in the Ndebele village amphitheatre, featuring tribal homestead paintings. Guests then move to the Ingoma amphitheatre for an audiovisual introduction to the history and culture of various tribal groups.
Following this, the tour visits the homesteads of the Ndebele, Zulu, Xhosa, Basotho, and Pedi peoples. It concludes with a music and dance performance at the Amphitheatre, showcasing ancestral folklore through dance, drumbeats, and song.
An optional South African buffet lunch is available at Nyama Choma restaurant after the tour. You will be dropped off at your original pickup address in Johannesburg.
