Description
Pickups start at 7am for the morning drive and 1:30pm for the afternoon drive. Booking this safari with Xplore Afrika includes a complimentary tour of the Union Buildings, home to South Africa's Parliament, in Pretoria.
Dinokeng Game Reserve is located 40km north of Pretoria, approximately a 1 hour 30 minute drive from Johannesburg. Qualified rangers guide you in an open safari jeep through the 18,500 km² reserve, home to the Big Five and numerous bird species.
The safari drive lasts about 2½ to 3 hours, allowing you to observe wildlife in their natural habitat. After the safari, you will be driven back to your original pickup location. The entire experience takes approximately 6 hours.
