Description
Day 1:
Pick up from your Johannesburg hotel or O.R. Tambo Airport. Travel through the Highveld grasslands to Tremisana Game Lodge inside Kruger National Park. Enjoy a 4-hour sunset game drive on an open Landcruiser to experience Africa’s wildlife and landscape. After dark, use a spotlight to see nocturnal animals.
Dinner is a traditional bush barbecue at the Marula Tree Boma. Continue with a night drive before retiring to air-conditioned chalets with en-suite bathrooms.
Day 2:
Depart for Orpen Gate and explore the Orpen/Satara region on a custom open-sided vehicle designed for optimal wildlife viewing, including lion and bird watching. The absence of windows and elevated seats enhance photographic opportunities. Spend a full day in one of Kruger’s prime wildlife areas.
Day 3:
Begin with an early morning sunrise drive. After breakfast, browse the lodge shop for souvenirs and take photos of the gardens. Then drive to Blyde River Canyon and stop at the Three Rondavels viewpoint. Return to Johannesburg in the late afternoon; airport drop-off is available by arrangement.
