The tour visits four main attractions in Pretoria:
- Voortrekker Monument: Commissioned by Paul Kruger to honor Boer pioneers who left the Cape Colony between 1806 and 1835 due to British occupation. Construction began in 1937 and completed in 1949.
- Paul Kruger House: Former residence of the South African Republic’s first president, now converted into a museum.
- Church Square: A historic market square with early 1800s buildings, featuring a central statue of Paul Kruger. The tour includes a drive-through on the way to the Union Buildings.
- Union Buildings: The official seat of the South African government and president’s office. Built after the formation of the Union of South Africa post-Second Anglo-Boer War (1899–1902). Construction spanned 1910 to 1913. The garden contains a large statue of former president Nelson Mandela.
