Description

Embark on a 12-day adventure across South Africa’s diverse landscapes, wildlife, and culture. Start in Cape Town, then visit Betty’s Bay to observe African penguins, followed by whale watching in Hermanus. Experience wine tasting at Benguela Cove and explore Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa.

On day two, visit Swellendam, enjoy a safari at Botlierskop Game Reserve, and spend the evening in Mossel Bay. Continue along the Garden Route, exploring Wilderness and the Knysna Heads, taking a sunset cruise on Knysna Lagoon, and staying overnight in Knysna.

Day four includes hiking in Robberg Nature Reserve and relaxing on Plettenberg Bay’s beaches. Day five offers an optional bungee jump at Bloukrans Bridge (own expense), followed by a tour of Port Elizabeth. The tour proceeds with visits to Port Alfred and East London, including an overnight stay in East London.

Explore the Wild Coast region with visits to Mvezo, Nelson Mandela’s birthplace, the Mthatha Museum, and stay in Mthatha. Day eight features the Mandela Capture Site, Howick Falls, and arrival in Durban for the night. After a short Durban city tour on day nine, take a boat cruise on the St Lucia Estuary in iSimangaliso Wetland Park to view hippos and crocodiles.

Days 10 and 11 take you to Mpumalanga for a full-day safari in Kruger National Park, where you can see the Big 5 and other wildlife. The following day includes visits to Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and Berlin Falls. The tour concludes on day twelve with travel through Mpumalanga, ending in Johannesburg. The package includes 11 nights of bed and breakfast accommodation.
