Description

This 12-day tour through South Africa covers diverse landscapes, wildlife, and cultural heritage. It begins in Cape Town and includes stops at Betty’s Bay to see African penguins, whale watching in Hermanus, wine tasting at Benguela Cove, and a visit to Cape Agulhas.

On day two, you will visit the town of Swellendam, enjoy a safari at Botlierskop Game Reserve, and spend the night in Mossel Bay. The Garden Route follows with visits to Wilderness and the Knysna Heads, a sunset cruise on Knysna Lagoon, and an overnight stay in Knysna.

Day four features hiking in Robberg Nature Reserve and relaxing on Plettenberg Bay’s beaches. Day five offers an optional bungee jump at Bloukrans Bridge (own expense) and a tour of Port Elizabeth.

The coastal journey continues with visits to Port Alfred and East London, including an overnight stay in East London. Along the Wild Coast, you will explore Mvezo, the Mthatha Museum, and stay in Mthatha.

Day eight highlights include the Mandela Capture Site, Howick Falls, and arrival in Durban for the night. On day nine, enjoy a brief Durban tour before a hippo and crocodile boat cruise in St Lucia Estuary within iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
