Description
Day 1: Your journey starts with a dawn pickup from your Johannesburg accommodation and transfer to OR Tambo Airport for a flight or shuttle to Hoedspruit. Passing through Mpumalanga farmlands, arrive in Hoedspruit for lunch before heading to Bongan African Lodge near Manyeleti Reserve. After check-in, enjoy a sunset game drive followed by dinner at the lodge.
Day 2: Depart early from Orpen Gate for a full-day game drive in Kruger National Park. Travel in an open-sided vehicle with expert guides who share insights on the park’s wildlife, including the Big Five. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner around the Bongan Boma.
Day 3: Start with a morning game drive and breakfast at the lodge. Spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring the local village to learn about its culture and customs. Optionally, visit an African Sangoma for a traditional spiritual experience or choose a full-day game drive in Kruger Park instead. Finish the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 4: Enjoy a final morning game drive before breakfast. Afterward, transfer to Hoedspruit for your shuttle service back to Johannesburg, completing your wildlife adventure.
