The Kruger Park

Look Before You Book

The Aim of our Kruger Park Coverage is to Help you to Decide which Camp to Visit.

We do not try to repeat the excellent information that is on the official Kruger National Park website, we simply link to it. We have taken 360 degree virtual tours and pictures of every camp and picnic site in the Park, and we combine this with our own information for each camp. Between the Kruger Park and ourselves, we provide the most multimedia rich and complete information base available on the Kruger Park.

The Kruger Park lies to the north east of Johannesburg - stretching upwards through Mpumalanga and Limpopo Provinces, to the Zimbabwe border in the North. It lies within and forms the major part what is loosely known as the Greater Kruger Area. The superb freeways all the way from Joburg to The Park ensure that it is is an easy drive away from Joburg. Should you prefer to fly to Kruger, a 45 minute flight will take you from OR Tambo International Airport to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport or the Hoedspruit International Airport, which are situated near to the Southern and Central borders of the Park, respectively.

Look Before You Book - Questions

What My Guide Johannesburg does, is to provide you with superb multimedia to give you an almost "real life" look at the camps in the Park - before you book your accommodation! Why should you plan your trip without the benefit of seeing the alternatives available to you? In other words.

  • Is the view from Olifants camp really as beautiful as they  say ? You decide!
  • Is it worthwhile staying at Lower Sabie to sit on the restaurant deck overlooking the River as the sun goes down ? Take a look!
  • And how does this compare with the view over the dam at Mopani? Check these out for yourself!
  • Looking for a picnic spot to have a great breakfast? Do you want a quiet one like Muzandzeni or a large picnic area like Tshokweni? See for yourself!

Our speciality is multimedia - at the moment our 360 degree multiple scene Virtual Tours are attracting much attention, and with our own videos coming shortly you'll be able visualize the vegetation and (hopefully) the game in the area as well! To give you a good idea of where all these camps are situated, go to our official Kruger Park Map (courtesy of SAN Parks).

Our Virtual Tours and pictures of every single Camp and Picnic Site in the Kruger Park, is a world first - so jump in and take a look around.
