  • This is a MUST for sports fans to delve into history and experience these venues

Description

We are offering you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the Wanderers, Ellis Park and Soccer City (or any combination of the three stadiums). You will be accompanied by knowledgeable guides and go “backstage” to see what happens behind the scenes in a big stadium. You will explore the dressing rooms, the Presidents’ Suites, the press and commentary boxes and walk down the tunnel onto the various playing surfaces. Imagine standing on the surface where Joel Stransky kicked the winning drop goal in the 1995 Rugby World Cup final. Or standing on the wicket where Ricky Ponting smashed 8 sixes in the 2003 Cricket World Cup final. Or standing on the pitch of the iconic FNB Stadium - venue of the 2010 Football World Cup final! These world class stadia have wonderful sporting tales to tell and - who knows - you may even meet a famous sports personality or two?!! There are also the two incredible stadiums in Pretoria - Loftus Versfeld rugby and football stadium and Supersport Park cricket stadium. Both have been the venue of historical sporting battles over the years. You can choose a three venue tour, or any combination of two stadia or visit just one if you wish. We have a bespoke rugby tour (Ellis Park and Loftus Versfeld) or a bespoke cricket tour (the Wanderers and Supersport Park), if preferred. If desired, lunch will be included - in Johannesburg at the Iconic Wanderers Club and in Pretoria at the historic Harlequins Club. You can be met and returned to your hotel or anywhere else that suits you.
