The tour begins at our BOOK IBHONI office on Kumalo Street, directly across from the iconic Hector Pieterson Museum. Here, you'll receive an introduction to the day's experience, including insights into local greetings and cultural etiquette. Your guide will provide a traditional welcome drink and set the tone for an authentic day out in Soweto. We will then stroll through the historic streets, where you’ll encounter vibrant street art, lively music, and engaging conversations with locals. Along the way, we will stop at the famous landmarks like Vilakazi Street, and the former homes of South African icons Sisulu Family, Nelson Mandela, and Desmond Tutu. With every step, you'll discover a deeper connection to Soweto’s rich heritage and community spirit.
