Air Transport

All of South Africa's airlines comply with the highest international safety levels. The flights to the tourist destinations furtherst away from Joburg, e.g. the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA), take only around 30 minutes of flying time, making them easily accessible from Joburg. A flight from Johannesburg to KMIA, for example, will only take you around 30 minutes. At the the Airport you can pick up a Hire Car to take you to the Kruger Park, or be met by your chosen Tour Operator.

On the other hand, by flying, you miss out on much of our beautiful scenery, which is really worthwhile exploring. So - why don't you make the time to fly there and drive back - perhaps spending a night in one of our towns in the Panorama Route or the Highlands Meander regions?
