Shimuwini Bushveld Camp
Johannesburg
Shimuwini, Shangaan for "Place of the Baobab Tree" is a tranquil bushveld camp situated in the heart of baobab country of the nearby Letaba river. This special camp consists of a number of cottages overlooking this beautiful river, and it has built up a loyal following from Kruger Park regulars. Despite being significantly damaged during the devastating floods in 2000, the camp was almost entirely rebuilt, and it now offers superb facilities inline with the understated techniques that characterise the game reserve's bushveld camps.
